The George Washington Birthday Ball, hosted by Sons of the Revolution in the State of New York, is held each year to honor George Washington and to benefit Fraunces Tavern® Museum.

This year’s Distinguished Patriot is Matt LaFrenz, Senior Sargent Major in Delta Force (retiring). He has 27 years’ experience in Special Operations. Having multiple roles in the US Army Special Mission Unit, Matt rose to become one of the most senior Noncommissioned Officers in an organization tasked with undertaking sensitive, complex and dangerous missions as directed by the President or National Command Authority.
