Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress. While not a federal holiday, this special day is observed across the nation, from small towns to big cities, often with parades. Since 1916, Sons of the Revolution in the State of New York, Inc. (SRNY) has hosted the Flag Day Parade, Celebration, and Open House here in New York City. Explore archival photos.
While we are unable to host our traditional parade in 2022, we are hosting a celebration on Friday, June 10 and an Open House with $1 Museum admission June 10-12 from 12:00pm-5:00pm.
